The Jewish Museum Milwaukee will present Christine Evans, assistant professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in a lecture on “Soviet Art and Culture after Stalin.”
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 11:30 a.m., at the museum, 1360 N. Prospect Ave.
The talk is being held in conjunction with the museum’s current featured exhibit, “Felix Lembersky: Soviet Form, Jewish Context,” showcasing the works of Lembersky, a Jewish artist working in the Soviet Union during and after the reign of Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.

The exhibit is organized and presented by the JMM and the Sam and Helen Stahl Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It is on display through July 14.
