Michael Zachary Joel Adler
A son, Michael Zachary Joel (Hebrew name Michael Zachariah Yoel), was born on Nov. 26 to Rabbis Julie Pelc Adler and Amitai Adler of Evanston, Ill. He is their first child.
The maternal grandparents are Sheryl and Claudio Pelc of Mequon. Rabbi Rachel Adler of Los Angeles and Rabbi Moshe (Nili) Adler of Cleveland are the paternal grandparents.
The maternal great-grandmothers are Bess Rosen Lichterman and Catalina Pelc of Milwaukee.
The baby is named in memory of his maternal great aunt Sarah Blacher Cohen, his paternal uncle Jim Coppersmith, and family friend Joel Schickman.
