In its March synagogue bulletin, Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun announced that it will be partnering with the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center.
This agency serves more than 7,000 people in a Milwaukee northwest side neighborhood, providing services ranging from pre-natal care to activities for seniors, according to the bulletin.
CEEBJ will sponsor three activities involving the center, beginning with a family program on Sunday, April 14.
This endeavor constitutes a “Mitzvah Project” of the synagogue in honor of Rabbi Marc Berkson and his 14 years of service to the congregation.
