The third biennial People of Faith United For Justice Advocacy Day at the State Capital in Madison is scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Among the co-sponsors of this event are the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Women’s Division of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. In addition, MJF chief executive officer and president Hannah Rosenthal is scheduled to speak.
Participants from faith communities throughout the state will gather to learn about the issues, pray together, and advocate for social justice, according to a JCRC flyer about the event.
Registration with lunch included is $25 per person by March 1; $35 per person with lunch not guaranteed thereafter.
Other co-sponsors of this event are the Wisconsin Council of Churches, the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, the Lutheran Office for Public Policy in Wisconsin, WISDOM, and the Madison Area Urban Ministry.
