According to an email sent to The Chronicle by Dorothy and Merton Rotter, their son, attorney Peter Rotter of Wausau, participated in the Israman Ironman-type marathon held in Eilat, Israel, this past Jan. 25.
Participants have to swim, bike, and run long distance courses and complete them all within 17 hours. The email states that Peter, 52, completed the event within the deadline and received a medal.
