January 2013 Wedding Announcements

Frydman-Badt

          Rachael Frydman of Mequon and Martin Badt of Lake Geneva were married Sept. 2 at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Park Place. Rabbis Phyllis and Michael Sommer officiated.

          Rachael is the daughter of Marla and Steven Frydman of Mequon. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 and is the director of Wisconsin Region BBYO.

          Martin’s parents are Freyda Badt of St. Joseph, Mich., and the late Marshall Badt. He attended Ferris State University and works for Elite Sports Clubs.

          The wedding party comprised Ira Frydman, and Emily and Alex Verbun.

 
Heilbronner-Adelberg

          Lisa Heilbronner and Greg Adelberg of Chicago were married Aug. 26 in Chicago. Rabbis Martyn Adelberg and Marc Berkson and Cantor David Barash officiated.

          Lisa is the daughter of Kathy and Bill Heilbronner of Mequon. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006 and works for Pinstripes Inc.

          Greg is the son of Marcia and Rabbi Martyn Adelberg of Morton Grove, Ill. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006 and is employed by the Chicago Transit Authority.

          The maid of honor was Rachel Heilbronner of Denver. The bridesmaids were Becky Adelberg of Chicago, Robyn Adelberg of Chicago, Lara Jaffe of Chicago, and Emily Kravit of Kansas City, Mo.

          The best man was Eldad Balas of Los Angeles. The groomsmen were Sam Heilbronner of Fort Collins, Colo., Sam Jaffe of Chicago, Drew Conley of New York City, and Derrick Voisey of Little Rock, Ark.

          The ushers were Kyle Schanzer of New York City, and David Babani and Joe Reiser, both of Chicago.

 
Laskey-Frank

          Rachel Laskey and Jonathan Frank of Glendale were married on Oct. 14 at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun. Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated.

          Rachel is the daughter of Marcia and Eugene Laskey of Shorewood. She graduated from Cardinal Stritch University in 2003 and works for The Shul.

          Jonathan’s parents are Linda and Eli Frank of San Francisco. He graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1999 and works for Walgreens.

          The maid of honor was Lisa Turner of Glendale. The bridesmaids were Roberta Stein of Bayside and Jacque Royter of Glendale.

          The best man was Mark Wilets of Glendale. The groomsmen were Rick Ruvin of Fox Point, Greg Becker of West Bend, and Jonathan Ansfield of Beijing, China.

          The ushers were Andrew Dalin of Bayside, Jim Schulkin of Glendale, and Shawn Barland of Glendale.

          After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Glendale.
