BiltRite runs food drive for United Way

BiltRite Furniture, an 84-year-old locally owned and operated fourth generation business of the Komisar family, last month organized its first donation drive for United Way of Greater Milwaukee.

On Nov. 11-Dec. 23, BiltRite ran a food drive in support of feeding Milwaukee families during the holiday season. BiltRite asked that customers and employees bring non-perishable food items to the store, and pledged to match one dollar for every food item donated. The drive directly benefitted United Way’s food pantries.
