Welcome to Glendale, the City of Glendale’s convention and visitors’ bureau; Lubavitch of Wisconsin; and Bayshore Town Center will present the Community Menorah Lighting Ceremony to celebrate the second evening of Chanukah on Sunday, Dec. 9, 5:30 p.m. in the Bayshore Rotunda.
Preceding this event will be Lubavitch of Wisconsin’s annual car menorah parade, beginning at the shopping mall on Port Washington and Green Tree Roads at about 3:45 p.m. and arriving at Bayshore at about 5:15.
The celebration will commence with a welcome by Rabbi Yisroel Lein at 5:30 p.m., followed by food service, the official menorah lighting, and other community activities. The lighting will take place at 6:20 p.m.
Attendees of this celebration will also be able to enjoy food service and catering by Duo, participation in a raffle, performances by Chai Notes Hand Chime Group, and a performance by Hillel & Jewish Beginnings combined children’s choir.
