The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle posted on its web site a poll question for October asking community members which of the presidential candidates they would vote for in the Nov. 6 election.
The 37 people who responded constituted one of the largest numbers of responses The Chronicle has received for a poll. While this is not enough for a truly scientific and representative sampling, the breakdown had a rough resemblance to the exit poll results for the U.S. Jewish vote.
Of The Chronicle respondents, 62 percent said they would vote for President Barack Obama (Democrat), 32 percent said they would vote for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (Republican), two percent indicated former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson (Libertarian), and four percent indicated Dr. Jill Stein (Green).
The exit polls showed that nationally about 69 percent of the Jewish vote went to Obama and 30 percent to Romney, with the remaining one percent going to smaller parties.
