Lia Kahn Oren of Glendale celebrated becoming a bat mitzvah on Oct. 27 at Congregation Sinai. She is the daughter of Elana Kahn-Oren and Ronen Oren and the sister of Ma’ayan, 15.
The maternal grandparents are Julie and Reuben Kahn of Milwaukee. Aida and Mordechay Oren of Kibbutz Ma’abarot in Israel are the paternal grandparents.
Lia is a student at the Milwaukee Jewish Day School.
Bari Zimmerman of Bayside will celebrate becoming a bat mitzvah on Nov. 10 at Congregation Shalom. She is the daughter of Jill and Jon Zimmerman and the sister of Ali, 15.
The maternal grandparents are Natalie and Danny Muchin of Bayside. Robin L. Daniels of Plantation, Fla., is the paternal grandmother.
Bari is a student at Bayside Middle School.
