At the recent annual meeting of the Kenosha Racine Jewish Welfare Fund, several changes were implemented, according to an item in the July-August newsletter of Beth Hillel Temple in Kenosha.
First, the organization’s leaders changed its name. The new shorthand name will be the JCF. The longer, complete name will be the Jewish Community Foundation of Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Second, a new group of officers was elected. Art Rothschild and Harley Sobin are co%u2010presidents, Steve Kreines is treasurer, and Linda Selsberg is secretary.
Third, the organization determined that it will continue to hold an annual brunch. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m., at Beth Hillel Temple. The speaker will be Rachel Alexander, the local representative of the Jewish Federations of North America.
