The Israel Scouts Tzofim Friendship Caravan will give a free outdoor concert at Bayshore Town Center on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 7 p.m. The concert will include singing, dancing, and storytelling.
The event is free and open to the public. Families with young children are encouraged to attend. Those attending are invited to bring along blankets and chairs. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Mall Rotunda.
The concert is presented by the Israel Center of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. The Israel Center disseminates information about Israel, coordinates educational programs for individuals and groups of all ages, and is involved in advocacy and fund-raising efforts.
Nancy K. Barnett chairs the MJF Israel & Overseas Committee. Eileen Graves chairs the Shlichut Committee. Event chair is Michal Rosenthal.
Jean Katz is the major sponsor of the concert. Other sponsors include the Jewish Home and Care Center/Chai Point and Judi Ketten.
