Cantor Marcos Salman will return to Temple Menorah to assist with its 2012 High Holiday services, according to a release from the synagogue.
Salman is recognized internationally for his lyric tenor voice, according to the release. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and sang beginning at age six with his father, who also was a cantor.
He has performed at synagogues in Buenos Aires, the United States, South and Central America. In 1982, he served as cantor of a synagogue in Pennsylvania. He returned to Buenos Aires in 2004.
Temple Menorah’s membership dues will again be offered at $36 for first-time members to ease the possible financial burden of joining a congregation.
