The Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be offering “A Biselle KlezKamp” (“A Little Bit of KlezKamp”) on Sunday, July 22.
The events will include a full day of classes, lectures, and workshops from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m., at the Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St. These will cover such topics as Yiddish language, visual art, music, radio, literature, popular culture, and dance.
At 6:30 p.m., a KlezKamp parade will go from the Pyle Center to the university’s Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St. A concert and dance party will then take place in the union’s Great Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.
