WITS to honor Ziguns and grads, feature The Shmuz director

The Wisconsin Institute for Torah Study will honor its Class of 2012 and will give its Kesser Shem Tov Award to Suzanne and Dr. Jeffrey Zigun at its 32nd annual banquet.

The event is scheduled to take place Sunday, June 10, 4 p.m., at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd.

Featured speaker will be Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier, director of TheShmuz.com. His topic will be “Aspiring to Greatness.”

The Shmuz website provides 45-minute Torah lectures focusing on “major issues of life,” according to the site. Its parent organization is Tiferes B’nei Torah-Yeshiva Programs for Working People.
