The Lehrhaus Adult Study program at Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute in Oconomowoc will feature Rabbi David Fox Sandmel leading a three-night mini-course June 28-July 1. He will address the topic “Jews and Christians: Siblings, Enemies, and/or Friends?”
Sandmel is professor of Jewish studies at the Catholic Theological Union and rabbi educator at Temple Shalom in Chicago. As director of the National Jewish Scholars Project, he coordinated the publication of “Dabru Emet: A Jewish Statement on Christians and Christianity” in 2000.
