The Coalition for Jewish Learning, the education program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center will present free film classes, open to the public, during May. Offerings include:
• “Bride Flight”(2010), on Monday, May 14, 7 p.m., a romantic drama about young war brides after World War II.
• “Say Amen”(2008) on Thursday, May 17, 7:30 p.m., a documentary about a gay member of the Orthodox community (part of the “Cutting Edge Israel” series, also co-sponsored by the Israel Center of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation).
• “For My Father”(2008) on Sunday, May 20, 4 p.m., about a failed Arab suicide bomber stranded in Tel Aviv.
• “Iranium” (2011) on Thursday, May 24, 7 p.m., a documentary with a talkback led by Tim Crain of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
