Menorah sisterhood to present ‘therapy dogs’

David Tucker of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Helen Bader School of Social Welfare will bring Pets Helping People to the meeting of the Sisterhood @ Temple Menorah Sunday, April 29, 10 a.m.

The community is invited to meet the owners and their “therapy dogs” at the synagogue, 9363 N. 76th St.

Pets Helping People provides therapy with 245 teams of owners with dogs of every breed and size. These teams visit with seniors, serve as integral members of multi-disciplinary treatment teams in healthcare sites, and work with teachers in classrooms to offer animal assisted therapy in more than 100 sites.

Reservations are requested. For reservations or more information, call the synagogue, 414-355-1120.
