Shana Marie Tabak and Louis-Alexandre Berg of Washington, D.C., were married June 12 at the Omi International Art Center in Ghent, N.Y. Rabbi Hayyim Angel of Congregation Shearith Israel in New York City officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara S. and Fred N. Tabak of Glendale. Shana earned her undergraduate degree in 2000 at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and her law degree in 2009 from Georgetown University. She is a visiting associate professor of law at the International Human Rights Clinic at George Washington Law School.

The groom’s parents are Esme E. and Roger E. Berg of New York City. Louis-Alexandre earned his undergraduate degree in 2000 at Brown University and a master’s degree in public affairs in 2004 at Princeton University. He is presently working on a doctorate in international relations at Georgetown University.
