The following Milwaukee-area Jewish educators received awards at the 13th annual Day of Discovery, held at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center on Jan. 15:

Gill Incentive for Teachers Award: Lori Fisher, Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha.
Rabbi Emanuel & Deborah Lifschutz Mitzvah Award: Ann Becker, Mequon Jewish Preschool and Congregation Shalom.
Double Chai Award: Paula Fine, Congregation Beth Israel; and Aggie Goldenholz, Congregation Sinai.
Chai Award: Diane Boland, Congregation Beth Israel; and Suzie Miller, Debbie Silberman, Lisa Wicke, and Mary Yanny, all teachers at JCC Gan Ami.
