Two-time Major League Baseball All Star Shawn Green will be featured at a Baseball Day at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center on Sunday, Feb. 12.
The event includes a baseball clinic for children ages 5-10 years old from 1-2:15 p.m., followed by a tailgate party at 2:30 p.m. (food will be available for purchase).
At 3 p.m. there will be a Green presentation and book-signing (for all ages) for his book “The Way of Baseball: Finding Stillness at 95 MPH.”
The JCC is located at 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd. The event’s chair is Mitch Nelles.
