Miriam Sushman’s photograph titled “Saturday Night Prayer Meeting” was accepted for the Coalition of Photographic Arts Fifth Annual Midwest Juried Exhibition at Walker’s Point Center for the Arts in Milwaukee. The exhibition runs Dec. 2–Jan. 21. This is the third year her work has been accepted in the show.
Sushman has been a documentary photographer and photojournalist for more than 20 years. According to her website (www.miriamsushman.com), she lived in Israel for seven years before moving to Wisconsin; and the projects she is working on include a children’s book on the Jewish holiday Sukkot.
