The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation is working with Tikkun Ha-Ir of Milwaukee and area synagogues and agencies to coordinate a Jewish community contingent at the Greater Milwaukee CROP Hunger Walk. (CROP is an acronym for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty.)
This event to support hunger relief is scheduled forSunday, Oct. 9, 12:30 p.m. registration, 1:30 p.m. walk. Two routes of two and five miles are planned.
