Jewish Family Services, Inc., has announced that it has contracted with the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation and Gorman & Company, Inc., to provide services to residents at Villard Square, 3427 W. Villard Ave. in Milwaukee, as a part of the new GrandFamily project.
Villard Square provides housing for older adults and their grandchildren and other multi-generational families.
JFS has hired Fredlyn Viel as the service coordinator for the initiative. She will provide and arrange social services and connect families to community resources. Previously, she worked at the Jewish Home and Care Center as a social worker in its rehabilitation unit, and at Chai Point Senior Living as a social worker.
