Rhoda K. Tannenbaum

Milwaukee native Rhoda K. Tannenbaum, nee Krasno, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died May 22. She was 84.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, she graduated from North Division High School, and obtained nursing training in the Chicago area. She lived in many areas of the U.S. and Japan. She worked for many years as an RN.

After settling in Arizona, she did volunteer work at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. She also loved animals and plants and volunteered at the Desert Botanical Garden.

She was predeceased by her husband, Sydney Tannenbaum; by her two sons, James and Mickey; by brother Eugene Krasno; and by sister Harriet Schendlinger. She is survived by sisters-in-law Phyllis Galst, Sue Tannenbaum, and Suzanne Krasno; and by nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Phoenix Veterans Administration Cemetery on May 27.
