The Women’s Division of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation has added Andrea Schneider as co-chair of the 2012 Women’s Campaign. Schneider will join Joan Lubar, current chair of the Women’s Campaign.
Schneider brings a wealth of past experience to the role, having previously served as Women’s Campaign chair in addition to numerous MJF volunteer appointments, including its board and executive committee.
“We are so excited that Andrea has agreed to return as the co-chair of the Women’s Campaign. She brings a deep love and personal commitment to Jewish philanthropy in her position, and her passion for Jewish life, Israel, and the Milwaukee community is infectious,” said Annual Campaign Director Rabbi Eric B. Stark.
“Her vision, drive and sense of humor will make her an ideal partner to Joan Lubar and will ensure that the Women’s Campaign remains a success,” Stark said.
Lubar looks forward to working with Schneider and is especially confident they will be able to take advantage of the energy of the recent Jewish Community Summit.
“I want to reach our goal and meet the needs of the Jewish community as best we can, and I am thrilled that Andrea will be joining me as co-chair this year. I am looking forward to joining forces with her to not only reach our 2012 fund-raising goals, but also to motivate new donors and young women to get involved with the campaign,” said Lubar.
“I think it will be a lot of fun to work with her, and beneficial to the campaign to work as a team,” she said.
