Milwaukee native Mollie Matras, nee Marz, died Feb. 26. She was 94.
She worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Congregation Shalom and the Morris R. Guten Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA. According to her family, she enjoyed reading, mahjong, knitting, and cooking.
Her husband Erwin Matras preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by her sister Edith (the late Jay) Kohler; niece Judy (David) Kaiser; and nephew Skip (Nancy Williams) Pivar.
Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled arrangements. Rabbi Joseph Prass officiated at the funeral on March 1. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the scholarship fund of the Morris R. Guten Auxiliary.
