Former Milwaukeean Harold Craig, the founder of the Craig’s Women’s Apparel stores, died in Highland Beach, Fla., on Jan. 8 of cancer. He was 88.
He was born in New York City and came to Milwaukee in 1924 with his family. According to his family, he graduated from high school and earned a college degree in business administration.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Michael Craig and Steven (Tiffany) Craig; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were in Boca Raton, Fla.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
