Edward Bristol of Mequon died Feb. 11. He was 78.
He was born in Ridley Park, Pa., and graduated from high school in Chester, Pa., in 1950. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He came to Wisconsin in 1952, and started Ed Bristol Advertising and Printing in 1959. According to his family, he “was proud of how his business grew.” He was a member of Congregation Shalom.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (nee Goldberg); daughters Susan (Glenn) Cummins and Lauri (Perry) Streeck; sons Don (Cathy) Bristol and Mark Bristol; sister Shirley (Bernie) Miller; brother Charles Bristol; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled arrangements. Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral on Feb. 13. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
