Germantown theater to present ‘Diary of Anne Frank’

The Imagination Theatre of Germantown will give six performances of “The Diary of Anne Frank” in March.

The play is based on the famous diary of a Jewish teen girl hiding with her family from the German Nazis in the Netherlands during World War II. This production will use a version of the 1955 Frances Goodrich/Albert Hackett play revised in the 1990s by Wendy Kesselman.

Eric Salter co-founded the theater with his wife Heidi in 2008. He will play Anne’s father Otto Frank, while Heidi will direct the production. They and their children are members of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.

Show times are: Friday, March 18 and 25 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 19 and 26 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, March 20 and 27 at 3:30 p.m. All performances will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ, W156 N10660 Pilgrim Rd., Germantown.

Tickets are $10 and are available by calling 262-957-0399 or go to itogonline.org. Group discounts are also available.
