Milwaukeean Bernice J. Kaufman, nee Miller, died on Dec. 23. She was 93.
She was born in Green Bay and met her husband, Milton, at a Green Bay Packer game in 1947. In 1968, they moved to Appleton, where they owned a liquor store. They moved to Milwaukee in 2002. Her husband died in 2002.
She is survived by sons Ira (Nancy) Kaufman of Mequon and Howard (Lynn) Kaufman of Milwaukee; brother Donald Miller of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery on Dec. 26.
The family requests memorial contributions to any Jewish organization.
