Milwaukee resident Dan Baer, assistant director of the Steve & Shari Sadek Family Camp Interlaken JCC, was selected as one of 16 recipients of the Merrin Teen Professional Fellowship Program.
Merrin Fellows are selected from affiliated Jewish community centers and camps in North America. In the program, Baer will participate in five seminars held over 16 months, including one in Israel. Participants focus on developing leadership skills, learning how to serve teens more effectively, planning their career paths in the JCC movement, and deepening their Jewish knowledge.
Baer has worked at Camp Interlaken JCC for the past two summers. The camp is located in Eagle River, Wis., and is the overnight resident camp of the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.
