Ruth Rickun, nee Karbash, of Glendale died on Oct. 20. She was 84.
She was born in Milwaukee and graduated from North Division High School. She worked in medical offices, was active in City of Hope, and did some 2,500 hours of volunteer work at Columbia Hospital. She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue. She also liked to make needlepoint projects and to knit.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; sons Todd (Myra) Rickun and Steven Rickun, and daughter Pamela Rickun, all of Milwaukee; and four grandsons.
Goodman-Bensman Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Rabbi Melech Lensky officiated at graveside services at Mound Zion Cemetery on Oct. 24.
