Conference to focus on Jewish women’s health

A Milwaukee Conference on Jewish Women’s Health will convene at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center on Sunday Dec. 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be Zakah Glaser of Baltimore, associate director of Soveya, an organization that helps people lead healthy lives. Her presentation is titled “Look Better, Feel Better & Live a Life You Love.”

In addition, Milwaukeeans Rebbitzen Feige Twerski will discuss “Healthy Eating? I’m Jewish! The Torah Perspective on Health & Wellness,” and Dr. Hila Handler of Aurora Sinai Hospital will ask the question “Are You Thriving or Merely Surviving?”

The program costs $18 if registered by Dec. 6, $25 at the door; and for students a discounted price of $10 is available.
