Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha will present a talk by Prof. Ronald J. Berger, author of “Surviving the Holocaust: A Life Course Perspective,” on Sunday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m.
Berger is professor of sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is the son of a Holocaust survivor. In his book, he recounts the experiences of his father, who survived many camps and a death march, and his uncle, who managed to pass for a Christian.
His appearance is in conjunction with the synagogue’s book fair. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 262-547-7180.
