The maternal grandparents are Ione and Dr. Robert Straub of Bayside. Robin and James Swernoff of Bayside are the paternal grandparents.
The maternal great-grandparents are Maxine Orenstein of Bayside; and Betty and Henry Straub of Campbellsport, Wis. Gisha and Howard Swernoff, and Annette Jungreis, all of Boca Raton, Fla., are the paternal great-grandparents.
The baby is named in memory of his maternal great-grandfather, Melvin Orenstein, and his paternal great-grandfather, Irving Jungreis.
