Alex Kellman of New Berlin will celebrate becoming a bar mitzvah Sept. 25 at Congregation Shalom. He is the son of Christy and Michael Kellman and the brother of Drew, 10.
The maternal grandparents are Carolyn and Bob Wertz of West Peoria, Ill. JoAnn and Brian Kellman of Brown Deer are the paternal grandparents.
The paternal great-grandparents are Sylvia and Sol Steingart of Milwaukee.
Alex is a student at Orchard Lane School.
