Mt. Sinai Congregation in Wausau was one of 68 cultural representatives participating in the 18th annual Portage County Cultural Festival on May 8 in Stevens Point.
More than 12,000 people enjoyed the festival, according to Mt. Sinai’s newsletter for June/July 2010. The synagogue created and staffed an exhibit at which volunteers answered questions attendees had about Judaism, and contributed to the entertainment by bringing to the festival Milwaukee Jewish instrumentalist and singer Lil Rev (Marc Revenson).
