Mequon resident Helen Fisher died May 1 of natural causes. She was 88.
Born in Media, Penn., she graduated from Media High School and earned a nursing degree from Atlantic City Nursing School. Before moving to the Milwaukee area, she lived in Sarasota and Longboat Key, Fla.
Her husband of 55 years, Dr. Egon Fisher, preceded her in death.
She is survived by son Dr. Robert H. Fisher of Milwaukee, three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were in Sarasota.
