Pinsky brings ‘Rockets into Roses’ to USA

Chaim Pinsky, a former Milwaukeean who moved to Israel, has begun representing “Rockets into Roses” in the USA. The company sells roses sculpted from the remains of Qassam rockets fired into Israel from Gaza.

Sculpted by Israeli artist Yaron Bob, the roses are welded onto a metal base shaped as the map of Israel. A plaque on the base records the month and year that particular rocket landed.

Standard roses cost $225; long-stemmed roses cost $275. Fifty dollars from each sale goes toward building shelters in the city of Ashkelon.
