Fighting Back joins Jewish Family Services

Fighting Back, Inc., is merging with Jewish Family Services and, as of Jan. 1, will operate as a program of the agency.

An agency that designs and implements strategies to attain alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse prevention programs in Milwaukee County, Fighting Back will retain its mission, name, services and staff.

According to Tasha Jenkins, executive director of Fighting Back, the merger will help reduce overhead costs. Two members of that agency’s boards will join the JFS board.

JFS will add a program to complement its existing services and will expand its reach to include more youth.
