Lifetime resident of the Milwaukee area, M. Richard Mandlman died on July 26 of a stroke. He was 79.
A resident of Grafton, Mandlman was born in Cudahy. After graduating from Cudahy High School, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As part of a four-year stint in the U.S. Army, he served in Korea.
He was the second-generation owner of Tempo Glove Company in Milwaukee.
He was a member of Congregation Anshai Lebowitz and B’nai B’rith.
In addition to his special interest in bowling and football, he particularly loved his family and had many dear friends, his wife Norma (Cohen) Mandlman said.
Additional survivors include daughters Faith Goldberg of Milwaukee, Holly (Greg) Humer of Thiensville and Susan (Dan) Rodriguez of Germantown; son Michael (Carolee) Mandlman of Mequon; brother Frank (Sandra) Mandlman; and 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Bernard Reichman officiated at funeral services. Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery. Goodman Bensman Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
