Makayla Lynn Lucoff was born Aug. 20 to Lisa and Chuck Lucoff of Scottsdale, Ariz. She is their first child.
Her maternal grandparents are Suzy and Norman Sheldon of Omaha, Neb. Dena Lucoff of Glendale is her paternal grandmother.
Makayla was named in memory of her maternal great-grandmother, Miriam Lynn Sheldon, and her paternal grandfather, Mark Lucoff.
