Milwaukee native Earl J. Adashek of Mequon died March 21 at the age of 81.
He graduated from East Division High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1949.
Adashek had a career as a stockbroker. He was a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.
He especially enjoyed his family, spectator sports, art, music, old movies and the stock market, his family said.
Preceded in death by sister Harriet Schefrin, he is survived by wife Freda Adashek (nee Gelin); daughters Lori (Daniel) O’Neal of Stevens Point and Leslie (Michael) Shechtman of Evanston, Ill; brother David (Pam) Adashek of Highland Park, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Rabbi Dena Feingold officiated at funeral services on March 23. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery
