Alexander Meltsner celebrated becoming a bar mitzvah on April 4 at Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha. He is the son of Janice Eisen and Ken Meltsner of Brookfield. He has one brother, Bill, 18.
His maternal grandmother is Carole Eisen of Greenville, S.C. Ruth and Arnold Meltsner of Rancho Mirage, Calif., are the paternal grandparents. Pearl Klein of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., is his maternal great-grandmother.
Alexander is a student at Magellan Day School.
