Jeannette Miller

Native Milwaukeean Jeanette Miller, (nee Craden) died Jan. 3 of pneumonia. She was 91.

A graduate of North Division High School, she worked as a homemaker and also with her husband Louis Miller in their business, Miller Builders.

A member of Congregation Shalom, she enjoyed singing and performing in plays at the Jewish Community Center and volunteering at Mount Sinai and St. Mary’s Hospitals. She also liked to travel and she and her husband visited Israel and took many cruises together. Family was very important to her, her family said.

Her husband died in 1986. She is survived by sons Richard (Susan) Miller and Raymond (Marsha) Miller, both of Bayside; sister Esther Ruskin of Pompano Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Blane Goodman Funeral Service, LLC, handled the arrangements. Rabbi Joseph Prass officiated at funeral services at Congregation Shalom on Jan. 5. Burial was in Anshai Lebowitz Cemetery.
