Nina Faye Cwik and David Matthew Raphael of Chicago were married Aug. 24 at Brynwood Country Club. Rabbis Isaac and Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Shelly and Dr. Arnold Cwik of Mequon. Nina graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 and Chicago Kent College of Law in 2006. She is employed by Ryd Law Group, P.C.
The groom is the son of Carolyn and Lawrence Raphael of Great Neck, N.Y. David graduated from Northwestern University in 1995. He works for Chicago Public Radio.
The maid of honor was Alison Weinberg of Chicago. The bridesmaids were Jorie Cwik of Las Vegas; Stephanie Dykeman, Leslie Mortara, and Abby Ranzer, all of Chicago; and Melissa Zinzi of Bayside, N.Y.
The best man was Alexander Klein of Ithaca. The groomsmen were Anthony Arbucias of Bel Air, Md., Andrew Bergang of Manchester, N.H., Aaron Cwik of Chicago, Marc Cwik of Las Vegas and Frank Zinzi of Bayside, N.Y.
The ushers were Ian Greenblatt of Chicago and Andrew Sacher of New York.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Chicago.
