Sam Berman will celebrate becoming a bar mitzvah on Nov. 8 at Congregation Shalom. Son of Michele and Jay Berman of Milwaukee, his siblings are Abby, 14 and Ellie, 9.
The maternal grandparents are Carol and Werner Richheimer of Mequon. Deanna Berman of Chicago and Mel Berman of Carmel, Ind., are the paternal grandparents.
The maternal great-grandmother is Trude Strauss of Milwaukee.
Sam is a student at Maple Dale School.
