Milwaukee attorney Richard J. Podell, president of the family-law firm bearing his name, recently spoke at the Alberta Bar Association conference in Calgary, Canada.
In his address, he described the development of family law, worldwide, over the last half century.
Podell is a past chair of the American Bar Association’s 16,000-member Family Law Section, and serves as its liaison to the Canadian Bar Association.
