Jessica Durrett and Scott Hansher of Sunnyside, N.Y., are planning to be married in December 2009.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Johanna and the late James Durrett of Battle Creek, Mich. Jessica graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 and is currently working on a master’s degree in childhood and special education at New York University.
The future groom’s parents are Adriane and David Hansher of Milwaukee. Scott graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006. He is employed by New York Presbyterian Hospital as a systems analyst.
